I’m in between sizes. What should I get?
If you are wavering between 2 sizes, we recommend getting the smaller option. So if you are deciding between size 7 or 7.5, we recommend choosing the 7.
My clogs and running shoes are different sizes. What should I get in BALA?
BALA Twelves are closer in feel to a running shoe than clogs, so we recommend using your running or tennis shoes to guide your size decision.
I need help picking a size. How can I get a recommendation?
We’d love to help! Click the chat button on the lower right hand section of your screen or email us at call-light@WeAreBALA.com and we’ll get back to you ASAP!
If I don’t get the right size, can I return or exchange my order?
Our first priority is getting you the right size so we accept returns and exchanges for 45 days after purchase. See the returns and exchanges section of this page for more information.

I’ve had my eyes on these shoes since before they became available, but didn’t need new shoes. After wearing Danskos for 5 years, my new pair began giving me foot pain (neuroma). I decided to buy these and am in love. Not only are they super comfy, my foot problems went away immediately! I ordered a 7.5 (my normal size) and they were snug in the toes. The exchange process was super easy and they sent out my new pair as soon as I dropped them off at the UPS store. They did take a few 12 hr shifts to break in as they mention, but it’s worth it. I love not having to worry about rolling my ankles like I did in danskos.
I am over the moon about my purchase.
I am not a nurse. I actually bought these shoes because I sell campers and I am on my feet all day. I walk an average of 7 miles a day around our lot. I work 10 hours a day 7 days a week and needed something comfortable enough to get me through the week. I am absolutely shocked and over the moon with my purchase. My feet haven't hurt since I started wearing them and they’re stylish/sporty too! Another bonus is they don’t get dirty!!! I am definitely purchasing another pair in the future.
I am a RN the shoes are really comfy but super narrow so they are hard to put on.
I was worried when I ordered the shoes that the size would be too small. I normally wear 8.5. The sizing guideline on the website recommended that I order a half size down. I'm so glad I followed that advice. The fit seems perfect with a little extra room in case my feet swell. I have worn the shoes around the house and they are very comfortable. I love the arch support. I also love how the shoes come with a bag to keep them in so you don't have to worry about pets and family being exposed to the germs on them.
I do like the style of shoe, but for the price I’m unsure if the shoe is worth it. I do think that the fabric cuts into my heel and ankle which causes some soreness. I tie my shoes up tight anyways so it may just be me. I did go by what me regular shoe size is, it is a bit longer in the toe but it doesn’t bother me nor do I notice it.
